Alaska Back Country Skiing in Prince William Sound

Professionally guided by Remarkable Adventures and permitted by the USFS.

There’s nothing quite like spring skiing in Alaska - that small window of opportunity to take advantage of warmer temperatures and cruise over soft, corn-like snow.

One of the many options offered by Babkin Charters is a guided backcountry spring skiing excursion that provides guests access to towering peaks and untouched routes in Alaska’s Prince William Sound.

This is Alaska wilderness only accessible by boat, and groups will have the chance to customize their trip and select smooth, white, unclimbed peaks to explore from one of our two boats, The Babkin or The Alexandra.

You will check out the gleaming slopes from the boat and choose your dream line. Our experienced guides know how to determine a safe slope and will take you to the best backcountry runs.

The view of sparkling blue water in Prince William Sound, along with those jagged, snowy Chugach peaks, are the setting for your climb and rewarding descent back to the sea.

Upon arrival back to the boat, you and your group will enjoy a paddle around the water, if you wish, along with a hearty and delicious meal. No need to worry about attracting bears to a campsite on shore. You will enjoy the comfort and safety of the boat after an unforgettable day of backcountry skiing in Prince William Sound.
